Support PHOENIX

Help people overcome isolation and rebuild their lives

PHOENIX’s mission is to support people facing violence in intimate or family relationships, separations and parental conflict. Your support can help develop this mission, with respect for each person and children’s needs.

Fundraising is being prepared.

Online payments are not yet open. To propose a donation or ask about the next steps, visit our Contact page.

What we aim to develop

  • Clear resources to help people recognise violence and identify useful steps.
  • Guidance towards professionals and organisations suited to each person’s needs.
  • Opportunities to talk and initiatives to reduce isolation.
  • Awareness of violence, parental equality and children’s protection.

These priorities follow from the association’s purpose. Their development will depend on the people and financial resources available.

Donations and taxation in France

The tax eligibility of donations to PHOENIX has not been confirmed. We therefore guarantee neither an income tax reduction nor the issue of a tax receipt.

The guidance below describes general French rules for individuals resident in France for tax purposes who donate to an eligible organisation.

The general rule: 66%, subject to conditions

An eligible donation may qualify for a French income tax reduction of 66%, with donations taken into account up to 20% of taxable income. Donations exceeding that limit may be carried forward for the following five years.

The 75% rate: a specific scheme

Certain organisations qualify for a 75% scheme, subject to a shared annual limit of €2,000 per tax household for donations covered by this scheme. This includes public-interest organisations whose principal activity is to support victims of domestic violence or help them find new housing, in both cases free of charge. Above this limit, the eligible portion falls under the 66% rate and its own limits.

PHOENIX’s stated purpose alone does not establish its eligibility for this scheme.

This is an income tax reduction, not a refundable tax credit: any excess is not refunded when the income tax payable is insufficient to absorb the reduction.

Donations, membership and the book are separate

A donation is voluntary support. Membership lets you take part in the association under its rules. Buying a book is a sale. These choices will be presented separately; membership will not be described as automatically qualifying for tax relief, and the book’s purchase price will not be treated as a donation.

Clear information before you commit

When fundraising opens, payment arrangements and the applicable tax position will be explained before any payment. A payment receipt confirms a transfer of funds; it does not replace a tax receipt used to substantiate an eligible tax reduction.

You can also offer your time, skills or a partnership to help the initiative develop.

Tax information checked on 1 November 2026. Rules may change; your personal circumstances and the conditions applying to the donation determine any available benefit.
